Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following System of a Down's official hiatus, the enigmatic frontman launched his solo career with an expansive, politically charged debut. Playing almost all the instruments himself, he successfully balances soaring alternative metal riffing with theatrical, operatic piano ballads and scathing critiques of modern imperialism.
