Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originating as musical interludes for Wes Anderson's film 'The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou', the Brazilian musician translates David Bowie's glam-rock classics into intimate, acoustic bossa nova. Sung entirely in Portuguese with heavily altered, ocean-themed lyrical adaptations, the stark, solitary recordings highlight Jorge's profound vocal warmth and intricate nylon-string guitar work.
