Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released independently through their own label imprint, 'Alpha' features Sevendust pivoting toward a darker, noticeably heavier alternative metal sound. The album relies on aggressive groove metal rhythms paired with Lajon Witherspoon's sombre and passionate vocal delivery. It successfully captured a more anxious, angry energy than their previous radio-oriented efforts[cite: 4].
