Collaboration

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded with a vast array of session musicians and prominent orchestral arrangements by Paul Buckmaster, 'Collaboration' presents Shawn Phillips at his most expansive and sophisticated[cite: 1]. The songs blur the boundaries between intricate acoustic folk and sweeping progressive rock, anchored by his multi-octave vocal range[cite: 1]. The recording solidifies his cult status as one of the era's most ambitious singer-songwriters[cite: 1].
