Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing their sunny exploration of mid-century pop forms, the duo of Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward presented an overwhelmingly charming third collection. Heavily featuring lush string arrangements, bouncy piano melodies, and intricate vocal harmonies, the record acts as a faithful, twee-pop love letter to classic 1960s Brill Building songwriting.
