Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed by Okkervil River members Jonathan Meiburg and Will Sheff, this project took on a life of its own with this conceptually rich third full-length. Thematically inspired by the life of Nico, the record utilizes expansive instrumentation, including glockenspiels and harmoniums, to craft a haunting, naturalistic atmosphere.
