Album Notes & Community Reviews

'The Dissolving Room' is the debut album by Shearwater, begun as a side project of Okkervil River's Jonathan Meiburg and Will Sheff. Its quiet indie folk, built on banjo, piano and Meiburg's emerging falsetto, already points to the band's later ornithological concept records.
