Album Notes & Community Reviews

Still featuring significant creative input from Okkervil River's Will Sheff, the Austin band's third album marks a pivotal step toward grander arrangements. 'Winged Life' pairs Jonathan Meiburg's delicate, soaring vocal delivery with lush, sentimental folk-rock instrumentation, establishing a deeply melancholic and melodic atmosphere.
