Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut album from Ren茅 Pawlowitz under the Shed moniker is a masterful distillation of late-2000s Berlin techno. Flawlessly bridging the cavernous echo of dub techno with the driving pulse of minimal house, the record was crucial in establishing the aesthetic dominance of the Ostgut Ton label and the legendary Berghain club. It was widely acclaimed as one of the most sophisticated, atmospheric techno records of the decade.
