Album Notes & Community Reviews

Titled 'Kinjite' (which translates to 'Forbidden Move'), Sheena Ringo's album marks a bold conceptual shift in her career. In a deliberate break from her own tradition, the album features no self-composed songs, consisting instead entirely of guest appearances and collaborative works with a diverse range of producers and artists. Following in the vein of her 2013 collaborations collection 'Ukina', this release compiles previously released joint tracks with new co-written material, presenting an eclectic and mature artistic statement.
