Album Notes & Community Reviews

Nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammy Awards, the American singer-songwriter's fifth studio album adopts a remarkably mellow, introspective tone. Heavily orchestrated with sweeping string arrangements and delicate acoustic guitars, the record steps away from driving rock hooks in favor of deeply sentimental, adult-contemporary balladry.
