Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing her commanding, remarkably theatrical voice, 'Shirley' features the Welsh vocalist interpreting a variety of dramatic ballads and show tunes. The robust orchestrations provided by Geoff Love perfectly match Bassey's explosive dynamic range, solidifying her status as Britain's premier traditional pop belter.
