Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning to the studio after a nearly forty-year silence caused by vocal dysphonia, the deeply influential English folk revivalist delivers a raw, uncompromising collection of traditional songs. Recorded in her own cottage, her weathered, unadorned voice is backed only by sparse, archaic instrumentation.
