Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating in the shadow of the burgeoning Los Angeles underground, the band crafts a grandiose, literate style of alternative rock on their sophomore effort. Although the group disbanded shortly after its release鈥攅ventually spawning the cult act Grant Lee Buffalo鈥攖he record remains a striking document of sweeping, post-punk-inflected guitar drama.
