Burning Farm

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the vibrant Osaka underground, the all-female trio delivered a joyously unpretentious debut that completely upended traditional punk rock aggression. 'Burning Farm' merges rudimentary Ramones-style guitar buzz with infectious, bubblegum pop melodies and distinctly quirky, food-obsessed lyricism. Initially released on cassette, the recording later captivated Western alternative musicians and became a foundational text for the international twee pop and riot grrrl movements.
