Album Notes & Community Reviews

Two of the most prolific and sophisticated arrangers of the California scene join forces to direct a massive, tightly swinging big band. The highly intricate, heavily contrapuntal brass and reed charts perfectly balance modern bebop complexity with the breezy, highly polished elegance of the West Coast style.
