Album Notes & Community Reviews

The massive nine-piece traditional music ensemble masterfully unearths the radical, working-class roots of English and Irish folk music. Utilizing an incredibly lush, dense array of historical instruments, the group filters ancient folklore through the highly progressive, distinctly avant-garde lens of modern drone music. It serves as a conscious, politically resonant, and breathtakingly medieval auditory tapestry.
