Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking her debut as a leader for ECM Records, 'So I Write' finds the Norwegian vocalist exploring stark, intensely quiet jazz arrangements. Supported by trumpeter Nils Petter Molv忙r, the icy, minimalist production provides a stunning backdrop for her highly expressive, poetic vocal delivery.
