Album Notes & Community Reviews

German technical metal pioneers Sieges Even introduced a significantly heavier, deeply frantic sound on their complex fourth full-length, 'Sophisticated'. Featuring a newly revamped lineup and the soaring vocals of Jogi Kaiser, the record is heavily characterized by dizzying time-signature changes and relentless, jazz-inflected guitar riffing. It actively pushes the technical boundaries of progressive metal to absolute extremes.
