Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by the renowned Butch Vig, 'Widow鈥檚 Weeds' finds the Los Angeles alternative rock quartet leaning heavily into lush, driving atmospherics. The album was born out of a period of personal turmoil for frontman Brian Aubert, resulting in an introspective set of songs framed by the band's signature fuzzed-out basslines and swooping string arrangements. It presents a polished and expansive iteration of their shoegaze-indebted indie rock sound.
