Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the dissolution of Crime and the City Solution, the influential Australian frontman relocated to the American West and embraced a profoundly roots-oriented aesthetic. 'Forever' strips away his previous gothic post-punk aggression, favoring mournful, cinematic country-rock ballads adorned with pedal steel and sweeping orchestration. The deeply melancholic solo debut successfully recasts Bonney as an evocative, brooding Americana troubadour.
