Album Notes & Community Reviews

Written and recorded during a period of deep isolation and personal healing, 'Coyote Butterfly' is a somber and highly cinematic contemporary folk album from Simon Joyner. The record features a beautiful, finely textured exploration of acoustic avant-folk and processed drone textures. The slow-moving, funeral-paced compositions pair delicate acoustic guitar picking with his signature, unhurried and comforting vocal delivery.
