Album Notes & Community Reviews

Plunging headfirst into dark, quiet, and introspective territory, 'Heaven's Gate' represents some of Simon Joyner's most somber and depressive writing. The self-produced record is a beautifully bare-boned statement built entirely around sparse guitar picking and his fragile, low vocal delivery. The songs deliver an exceptionally vulnerable, lonely, and honest diary of grief and emotional isolation.
