Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as his debut proper release on the prestigious Jagjaguwar label, 'Lost With the Lights On' represents a somber, highly cinematic milestone in Simon Joyner's career. The self-produced record features a fuller, more band-oriented alternative folk and indie rock sound compared to his earlier solo works. Lyrically, the compositions deliver a highly mature, introspective reflection on domestic stability, personal history, and the quiet passage of time.
