Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced with singer-songwriter Michael Krassner, 'Pocket Moon' is a highly concept-driven studio album from Simon Joyner. Drawing from his traditional midwestern folk roots, the record explores the unvarnished struggles of labor, care, and parenthood. By dressing heavy, fatigued, and introspective themes in gorgeous contemporary folk and acoustic ballads, the album functions as an act of pre-eminent social empathy.
