Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring the fierce, muscular tone of the Revolutionary Ensemble bassist, 'Artistry' is an intense exploration of free jazz and modern creative composition. Sirone leads a highly unorthodox group that heavily incorporates cello and flute, blurring the lines between chaotic acoustic improvisation and European chamber music. The privately pressed album is highly revered by aficionados of the 1970s New York loft jazz scene.
