Album Notes & Community Reviews

Tasked with following up the massive cultural phenomenon of 'We Are Family', Sister Sledge once again enlisted the production mastery of Chic's Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards. 'Love Somebody Today' retains the lush, highly danceable pop-soul orchestration that defined their breakthrough. The album boasts polished funk grooves and infectious vocal harmonies, typifying the upscale disco sound of the early 1980s.
