Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-produced by James Murphy before his formation of LCD Soundsystem, the final album from the Rhode Island provocateurs is a masterpiece of synthetic paranoia. The record aggressively fuses jagged, post-hardcore guitar tension with rigid analog drum machines and sputtering Moog synthesizers, heavily anticipating the looming dance-punk revival.
