The notoriously erratic Providence, Rhode Island ensemble delivered an incredibly anxious, violently energetic fusion of jagged noise rock and abrasive synthesizer punk. Anticipating the dance-punk revival by a full decade, the hyper-rhythmic production heavily incorporates vintage Moogs and disjointed, angular guitar riffs. The fiercely satirical, remarkably chaotic recording captured the frantic essence of their legendary, highly confrontational live performances.
