Album Notes & Community Reviews

The former Byrds bassist enlisted the eccentric Hollywood producer Kim Fowley to collaborate on this deeply quirky, highly melodic solo debut. Blending laid-back California country-rock with distinctively eccentric, slightly satirical songwriting, the record features extensive contributions from his former bandmates Roger McGuinn and Clarence White. It stands as a wildly entertaining, highly idiosyncratic footnote to the early 70s Los Angeles rock scene.
