Album Notes & Community Reviews
Emerging from the fertile Texas underground music scene, the Austin-based outfit delivered a crushing synthesis of thrash aggression and mechanized precision. 'Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame' integrates relentless drum programming, harsh electronic samples, and Adam Grossman's abrasive vocals over heavily down-tuned groove metal riffs. The uncompromising sound helped define the heavy, guitar-driven edge of early 90s American industrial metal.
