Album Notes & Community Reviews
Cementing Louise Wener's status as a central figure in the Britpop movement, this sophomore album delivers razor-sharp, heavily polished guitar pop. The recording brilliantly contrasts incredibly upbeat, radio-friendly melodies with deeply cynical, observational lyricism focusing on suburban boredom and modern romance.
