Album Notes & Community Reviews

Brilliantly fusing the aggressive, buzzy guitar attack of Chicago punk with the remarkably smooth, crooning vocal style of classic pop singers, 'Born to Quit' is a totally unique mid-90s gem. Frontman Josh Caterer delivers deeply romantic, heartbroken lyricism that sharply contrasts the band's driving power-pop energy. The single 'Need You Around' famously secured them a highly coveted spot on the influential 'Clueless' film soundtrack.
