Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fusing the galloping aggression of early power metal with the slow, crushing weight of epic doom, Canada's Smoulder delivers a triumphant sophomore record. 'Violent Creed of Vengeance' is fiercely dedicated to classic swords-and-sorcery aesthetics, anchored by Sarah Ann's commanding, operatic vocal performance. It stands as a gloriously unabashed love letter to the foundational sounds of 1980s traditional heavy metal.
