Album Notes & Community Reviews

Standing slightly apart from the rougher edges of the Flying Nun roster, the band's debut album highlights sophisticated, Byrds-influenced vocal harmonies and gentle jangle-pop sensibilities. The songwriting duties are split heavily among the members, resulting in a rich, melancholic, and melodic collection that draws heavily upon 1960s pop structures. It remains a foundational, albeit softer, pillar of the legendary Dunedin Sound.
