Album Notes & Community Reviews

Entirely produced by Pharrell Williams, the legendary West Coast rapper completely abandons aggressive hip-hop for breezy, 1970s-inspired funk and disco-pop. Emphasizing melodic singing over traditional rapping, the project features major guest appearances from Stevie Wonder, Charlie Wilson, and Kendrick Lamar. It was widely praised as a joyful, surprisingly cohesive late-career pivot.
