Album Notes & Community Reviews

Before achieving massive global success with polished stadium anthems, the Northern Irish-Scottish band debuted with a much scuzzier, noise-pop-oriented sound. Showcasing the influence of American alternative rock and the lo-fi indie scene, the record balances Gary Lightbody's earnest songwriting with raw, distorted guitar energy.
