Album Notes & Community Reviews

The seventh studio album from German thrash metal titans Sodom captures the band injecting heavy crossover-thrash influences directly into their blistering sound. 'Masquerade in Blood' features incredibly raw, underproduced instrumentation that accurately reflects the chaotic, violent nature of Tom Angelripper's wartime lyricism. Notably, this is the only album to feature guitarist Dirk Strahlmeier before his tragic death, lending it a distinctly grim historical footprint.
