Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shifting from occult black metal toward militaristic thrash, 'Persecution Mania' solidified Sodom's signature, heavily distorted Teutonic sound. The album tackles themes of global warfare and political destruction with relentless, rhythmic aggression and remarkably heavy guitar tones. It represents a vital maturation for the band, defining the ruthless speed and serious thematic focus of European extreme metal.
