Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Norwegian avant-garde duo initiates an ambitious two-part conceptual saga deeply rooted in the medieval Icelandic sagas. Distancing themselves further from traditional black metal, the intricate compositions heavily incorporate clean vocal harmonies, saxophone solos, and complex progressive arrangements to narrate epic tales of Nordic mythology.
