The Days of Grays

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Finnish quintet's sixth studio album marks a definitive shift away from their hyper-fast power metal origins toward a darker, heavily orchestrated symphonic sound. Led by Tony Kakko's dramatic vocal delivery, the tracks are densely layered with orchestral keyboards, progressive time changes, and deeply melancholic lyricism. The ambitious production polarized early fans but showcased significant compositional maturity.
