Album Notes & Community Reviews
Sonny Clark's final session as a leader before his untimely death is a brilliant, definitive statement of Blue Note hard bop. Featuring an early appearance by tenor saxophonist Charlie Rouse, the album is packed with Clark's deeply swinging, impeccably structured blues-drenched piano lines.
