Sunny Days, Starry Nights

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary tenor saxophonist delivers a buoyant, highly accessible set that heavily incorporates sunny, Latin-infused rhythms into his muscular hard bop style. Supported by a robust band that includes Tommy Flanagan, 'Sunny Days, Starry Nights' captures his massive, joyous tone and relentless improvisational stamina. It is widely regarded as one of the most energetic and satisfying studio recordings of his later career.
