Album Notes & Community Reviews

Known primarily as a tireless bebop disciple, the saxophonist seamlessly adapts to the slightly earthier, blues-oriented structures of the hard bop idiom. The session is characterized by fluid, unhurried improvisation and a remarkably warm, singing tone on the alto horn. 'Now!' captures a veteran improviser operating with total confidence and relaxed mastery over standard chord changes.
