Album Notes & Community Reviews

Max Cavalera's long-running outfit returns with a fiercely energetic and distinctly tribal exploration of groove metal on 'Chama'. The album heavily integrates traditional Brazilian music rhythms into an overwhelmingly heavy, apocalyptic extreme metal framework. Punctuated by raw, rebellious lyrical themes and signature harsh vocal barks, the record acts as a primal resurgence of their classic 1990s sound.
