Album Notes & Community Reviews

Max Cavalera strips back some of the elaborate tribal instrumentation of earlier releases to focus on a significantly darker, more aggressive thrash approach. The intense, down-tuned riffing reflects the frontman's personal tragedies during the recording period, resulting in a bleak, highly hostile groove metal atmosphere.
