Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut album by the San Francisco collective led by producer Andy Caldwell, with Gina Rene's soul vocals set against downtempo breakbeats and live instrumentation. 'Illusion' belongs to the wave of American trip hop that favored organic textures and sung hooks over sample collage.
