Album Notes & Community Reviews

Mark Linkous's debut as Sparklehorse is a brilliantly eccentric, deeply poetic exploration of lo-fi indie rock and melancholic alt-country. The album weaves bizarre tape samples and delicate slowcore melodies into a bittersweet, highly surreal, and warmly autumnal psychedelic folk tapestry.
