Album Notes & Community Reviews

This avant-garde collaboration presents a surreal, atmospheric song cycle composed by Alex Temple and sung by the acclaimed art pop vocalist Julia Holter. Backed by the intricate modern classical arrangements of the Spektral Quartet, the deeply melodic album explores themes of queer identity and profound longing. The highly poetic concept album utilizes delicate chamber music to navigate feelings of isolation and transformation.
