Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music, this project largely served to re-record and polish material from the eccentric New Zealand band's debut for an international audience. The music presents a highly theatrical, anxious collision of progressive rock complexity and quirky art-pop melodies. It firmly established their bizarre visual identity and frenetic musical approach in the UK market.
